Coconut Chips organic
Organic cocnut crisps are like summer vacation in the tropics. Crispy, crunchy, delicious – bring summer vacation into your kitchen. Weather as smoothie topping or as snack with nuts you can taste the summer vibes.
Organic coconut strips are not only indispensable for refining soups and African dishes, but also as vegan coconut bacon, organic coconut chips add a real highlight to any plate. Our coconut chips are also a great snack for in between meals. They are surprisingly juicy and crunchy. They are intentionally cut a little thicker to preserve the intensely juicy taste. No sugar or superfluous ingredients are added during their production, so they are an all-natural product. Our coconut chips are also organic, as we support sustainable agriculture that works without pesticides that are harmful to the environment and health.
What are coconut chips?
The white flesh of the coconuts is cut into medium-sized pieces after harvesting and gently dried to preserve the exotic tropical flavour. Coconuts grow mainly in Asia and South America on so-called coconut palms, which you have seen on beach photos. From the nuts growing on them, coconut water, coconut oil, grated coconut and the already mentioned coconut chips are obtained.
What can you do with coconut chips?
The coconut strips are low-carb and very versatile: as a baking ingredient in coconut chip cake, as a topping for bowls, porridge, yoghurt, muffins, but they are also a real twist in curries or fruit salads. But the coconut strips are also perfect as a snack, and anyone with a sweet tooth should try coating the coconut chips in chocolate.
How healthy are coconut chips?
The coconut chips not only taste juicy and delicious, but they also have several vitamins and healthy nutritional values. Coconut chips contain vitamins E, K, C and vitamins from the B group. Coconut chips are also rich in important minerals such as iron, potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and manganese. These are essential for maintaining the regular functions of our organism. However, coconut chips also contain a high proportion of fat, of which there are quite a few saturated fatty acids. However, saturated fatty acids are important for our body in certain quantities, as they are essential for the protection of our organs and the hormone and immune metabolism. In addition, coconut chips are a source of protein with a low carbohydrate content, making them an energy-rich snack for athletes as well as vegans and vegetarians.
