Our fine paprika powder is available in three different varieties: sweet, smoked and hot. Besides Hungarian paprika powder, Spanish paprika powder is also famous and very popular, and not without reason. The Spanish themselves call their paprika powder “Pimentón de la Vera” and it is made from ripe red peppers, is fruity and aromatic, and tastes great with all kinds of dishes.

How is paprika powder made?
The peppers from organic farming are harvested, air-dried and then gently finely ground. Only the red flesh of the peppers is used. Both the seeds and the stalk are removed.
What is paprika powder used for?

In this case, paprika powder can develop a bitter taste due to the high heat. Otherwise, it is very versatile in the kitchen. This means that it is often used for both cold and hot dishes. Organic Sweet Paprika Powder
In Germany, sweet paprika powder is the most popular type of paprika powder. As its name suggests, sweet paprika powder is a rather less hot paprika powder and enchants with its fine, fruity and mildly spicy taste. In order to achieve this rather sweet taste, the stalk and the seeds are removed as well as the partitions of the peppers. Furthermore, our ground sweet paprika powder is completely without additives, so you can be sure that it is 100% natural. There are no glutamates, other flavour enhancers, gluten or any artificial additives or preservatives.

Organic Spicy Paprika Powder
Hot paprika powder is, as its name suggests, a hotter paprika powder than our other two paprika powders and enchants with its mildly sweet to slightly spicy taste. In addition, our ground paprika powder hot is completely without additives, so you can be sure that it is 100% natural. There are no glutamates, other flavour enhancers, gluten or any artificial additives or preservatives.
The organically grown peppers are harvested, air-dried and then gently finely ground. For the hot paprika powder, not only the red pulp of the paprika is used, but also the seeds and the septum. The heat level of the paprika powder depends on how much of the seeds and membranes of the paprika are used. The lighter the powder, the hotter it usually is.

Organic Smoked Paprika Powder
The smoked paprika powder is, as its name suggests, a less spicy paprika powder and enchants with its rustic smoky note and spicy taste.
In addition, our ground smoked paprika powder is completely without additives, so you can be sure that it is 100% natural. We also avoid adding glutamate, other flavour enhancers, gluten and any artificial additives or preservatives.
Smoked paprika powder is a typical Spanish spice. During production, the peppers are smoked under oak wood for 1-2 weeks. Then the peppers are completely dried and ground very finely in several grinding stages. This is how it acquires its smoky and intensely spicy flavour. It is therefore also perfect for a summer barbecue, as the bitter-sweet note of the paprika with the spiciness and smoky aroma of the oak wood harmonises perfectly with grilled cheese, potatoes, tofu, vegetables or meat.
